Windows Phone OS is popular on a lot of mobile phones now but I am yet to see a killer Windows OS phone in the market to date. Samsung Focus S is from AT&T and it is a really beautiful device with a light and thin design. It also has a really gorgeous 4.3 inches Super AMOLED Plus screen, an eight megapixels camera on the back, and a front facing 1.3 megapixels front facing camera.
This might sound familiar to you and that is because the spec list here is the same as that on the Samsung Galaxy S II also from AT&T. These two phones are almost the same and the big difference is the OS inside and physical button for camera. The specs [...]

Samsung DoubleTime is a clamshell phone having white body, dual touch screens, pink accents, and a full QWERTY keyboard. This is a phone from AT&T and the unusual build immediately caught my attention. However, some might agree with me that the best element of this phone is its design. This handset doesn’t have a lot to offer in terms of features or service. I was also disappointed to see that the manufacturer chose to put in Android 2.2 aka Froyo OS in the phone which is outdated. We are currently having Android 2.3 OS. There is a 3.2 megapixels camera which is mediocre but the call quality is pretty good. The price of this phone is $49.99 and it is quite affordable.
The design of the Samsung DoubleTime will be welcomed by people who are bored with the traditional [...]

Samsung Captivate Glide is a phone from AT&T and the manufacturer has attempted here to glue in a QWERTY keyboard with a handset that has impressive specs. When I first took this phone in my hands, I couldn’t believe how light it was. This isn’t the thinnest phone in the market right now but even with its 4 row full QWERTY keyboard, this handset feels quite light as compared to Apple iPhone 4S. The absence of heft is probably due to the plastic body. It helps to keeps ounces off this phone but does not do much to give this handset a sturdy feel in the hand.
Hardware
The battery cover of the Samsung Captivate Glide comes with a nice textured grippy finish. Pull it off and you will see really thin plastic interiors. I was a bit wary of removing or installing [...]

Samsung Stratosphere is a phone which looks quite similar to the Samsung Epic 4G which Sprint released in the year 2010. It has an all black glossy face having rounded shoulders and it still looks quite elegant in spite of the minimalism. The back cover is different though. It has a soft touch finish with a nubbly pleasant texture and is reminiscent of suede. This handset is 4.96 inches high, 0.55 inch thick, 2.54 inches wide and the weight of this phone is 5.8 ounces which makes it a bit heavy. The dimensions of the phone too make this handset a ‘jumbo phone’.
Samsung Stratosphere has a four inches WVGA screen having a resolution of 800x480 pixels and this Super AMOLED display is quite impressive with its saturated and bright color which leaps of the screen. This display [...]

This phone is the successor to the Samsung Transform which was brought by Sprint at fall CTIA 2010. We now have Samsung Transform Ultra from Boost Mobile and it is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS phone. The handset has a tactile and nice design with a 1 GHz processor inside for getting things moving. The fast 3G speeds too are pretty impressive. However, there isn’t much ‘ultra’ about this phone except for the newer version of Android OS and the Argyll gray-on-gray backing. It is still worth considering. This phone will put you back by $229.99 without any contract obligations and it fits quite well in the smartphone pricing policy of Boost Mobile.
Samsung Transform Ultra comes with a few changes which makes it easy to distinguish the handset from the predecessor. The [...]

The year 2011 seems to be the year of speed, power and immense capabilities. The handsets have established themselves into a nice comfy groove and now seem to carve their way gently towards speed, capabilities and power.
If we’ve to talk about the small enhancement that the modern cell phones are seeing, then the all new Samsung Galaxy S 4G is a fine example of nice enhancements.
Right from the time when you get the handset in your hand you’ll get a clear feeling of déjà vu, and the same happened with us. Starting from the incredibly light chassis of the handset to the faux-chrome accents to the glass to the flashless camera of 5 megapixels, everything felt familiar. But as we went further we found that the déjà vu was pretty justified.
The Samsung Galaxy S [...]

Samsung have seen its fair share of SmartPhones in its line-up, but none of them has been as successful as the Samsung Galaxy S II. This gets certified from the fact that around three million handsets have been sold all over the world, and seeing at the figures there’s no denying the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone easily could be one of the best-selling models of the company.
According to the tech market analysts, the sales figures for the phone easily could touch 20 million, because Apple has delayed its new iPhone because of disruptions in its part supply chain and Nokia seems to find it hard to get hold in the [...]

The Samsung Gravity Smart is the latest offering from Samsung’s sub-brand of Gravity messaging cellphones, and we are more than happy to report that it’s the first smartphone of the line. Though the Samsung Gravity Smart runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, but the remaining specifications of the handset follow the conventional specs of the series, and the Gravity Smart also follows the traditional path of offering messaging services with its conventionalized, slide-out QWERTY keyboard. In order to appeal the modern young customers Samsung is offering the Gravity smart with some flashy colors such as Berry Red, Lunar Gray and Sapphire Blue. Samsung actually has dialed down the stun factor here, seeing that the Gravity phones frequently comes in electric hues of blue, red and lime. [...]
